Certifications built by
the engineers who hire.
KOHANTIC FORGE is an engineer-led academy for people breaking into IT and engineering. Self-paced learning, real instructor access, no filler.
Who it's for
FORGE is built for people who need to learn the material and earn the cert—not just watch videos.
Career-changers
Moving into IT or engineering from another field. You need structure, direction, and someone to ask when the material stops making sense.
Early-career professionals
Already in the industry and looking to formalize what you know. Certifications open doors—FORGE gets you through them without wasted time.
Self-starters who want a real guide
You can learn on your own, but you want curriculum shaped by engineers who work in the field, plus direct access when you hit a wall.
Why FORGE is different
Most cert prep is written by educators. Ours is written by the people who do the work.
Engineer-led curriculum
Every course is designed and taught by working senior engineers. The material reflects how things actually work in industry—not how textbooks abstract them.
Real instructor access
You get direct access to your instructor—email, the learning platform, and a dedicated Discord. When you get stuck, you get help from someone who has been there.
No filler, no fluff
We teach the material the way we wish we had been taught: precise, technical, and respectful of your time. If it does not help you pass the exam or do the job, it does not make the cut.
What's coming

CompTIA Security+
Security baseline—threats, cryptography, identity, risk, and incident response.
Advanced & engineering tracks
Advanced CompTIA certifications and engineering-focused curricula.
More tracks will be announced as the platform grows.

Built inside an engineering services company
KOHANTIC is an engineer-led company serving startups and small- to mid-sized businesses. FORGE is the education arm of that family—part of the same group of engineers who work with real teams on real systems every day.
That matters because it shapes the curriculum. The people writing your courses are the same kind of people you will work alongside once you pass the exam. You are learning from practitioners, not career educators.
Frequently asked questions
Short, direct answers to the most common questions.
How much will FORGE cost?
Pricing has not been finalized. Our goal is to keep it accessible for career-changers and early-career professionals while reflecting the depth of engineer-led instruction. Waitlist members will see pricing before anyone else.
How long does each track take?
FORGE is self-paced, so the total time depends on your prior knowledge and study schedule. As a rough guide, the A+ typically takes 8–12 weeks at a few hours per week; Network+ and Security+ trend slightly longer. You are not on a clock.
Are there prerequisites?
No formal prerequisites for A+. For Network+ and Security+, basic familiarity with computing concepts helps, and A+ is a natural precursor. If you are unsure where to start, the waitlist intake will ask about your background and we will point you in the right direction at launch.
Are the certifications industry-recognized?
Yes. CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+ are vendor-neutral certifications widely recognized by employers, including the U.S. Department of Defense for certain roles. FORGE prepares you for the official CompTIA exam; the exam itself is scheduled and paid for through CompTIA.
What happens after the platform launches?
Waitlist members get first access. You will receive an invite before public enrollment opens, along with details on pricing, cohort timing, and any early-access incentives.
What if FORGE is not the right fit?
We are designing a fair refund policy—final terms will be published before enrollment opens. If a course is not working for you, we want to hear it, not keep your money.
Do you help with job placement?
Job placement is not part of FORGE at launch. Our focus right now is preparing you for the exam and giving you a working engineer to learn from. We will share additional resources as the platform matures.
